The Crowbar is an important object in the Hello Neighbor series needed to remove nails from boards, and to remove boards pinned against windows and doors. It is one of the objects needed to open the door to the basement in Act 3. In Act 1, it's useless because there are no boards.

Description

In Pre-Alpha - Alpha 2, it looks like a crowbar with a red handle and grey ends.

Alpha 3 has changed the appearance of the crowbar, now it's more disproportionate.

Starting with Alpha 4, the crowbar is initially red-hot. If you pick it up, the crowbar will fall out of the hands of Nicky Roth with a characteristic hissing sound. To cool it, you need to fill the watering can with water from under the bathtub or sink and start watering the crowbar, or put it there with the electromagnet. After a few seconds of watering, the mount will cool down. Now it can be picked up and used. The alternative is to wait for it to cool down, or to come across Mr. Peterson, and then return to the crowbar several times.

Starting with Beta 3, only the top of the crowbar is cooled, and then the mount itself. It also happens more naturally, in Hello Guest Prototype these were found in the supermarket and there were to quit of the nails of the panic room, in Hello Guest "Pre Alpha" (announcement trailer version) a crowbar with a different model appeared to remove nails from the elevator building but in Alpha 1 the crowbar was removed but the same crowbar is in the files.In Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1, the crowbar was brought back. Now they have animations removing the plank.

Location

Pre-Alpha

Located in a closet in the backyard. After a nightmare with the Giant Neighbor, you can see on the wall in the garage.

Alpha 1

Located in Mr. Peterson's bedroom, under the bed, as well as in the garage.

Alpha 2

It is located in the trunk of Nicky Roth's Car. After training, the crowbar can be found in the workshop and on the antenna on the roof.

Alpha 3

Located on the third floor, in a room under a roof with a blue lamp. The mount hangs on a carnation on a wooden pole.

Alpha 4

Located in the same room where it was in Alpha 3. Now it is attached to a torn wire, from which blue flashes of light come. Initially, it is hot and so easy to pick it up.One can also be found standing upright on shelf 13 in Fear Darkness.

Beta 1 - 2

In training, the mount can be seen in the trunk of Nicky Roth's Car. After training, you can find it in the attic (the same as in the previous version).

Beta 3

There is no change in learning. After training, the mount is behind bars, in the electric flap, at the top of the room with a platform. The icon in the inventory has changed.

Act 1

Located in the studio of Mr. Peterson, on the top shelf.

Act 2

It's in the Lego Man's hand. To take it, you need to put a man on the toilet (or on the couch) in the dollhouse and return to the bathroom ( or couch room right across the hall.)

Act 3

Nothing has changed since Beta 3.

Located in a burnt-out apartment.

Stage 4

Located on the bed, at the bottom of the pond.

Secret Neighbor

Located in the garage or in the barn.

Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1

Located in Mr. Peterson's House in the room where the children room used to be. In the panel near the door to the room, you need to enter the password that The Guest enters or fly there using a fire extinguisher or a hat with a propeller.

Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1.5

It is located in Mr. Peterson's House on the second floor behind a large grate. To get it, first you need to get a fire extinguisher. After that, you can choose one of two ways: 1) use a fire extinguisher to push the crowbar out into the street through the lower right hole, and then run around the backyard and look for the crowbar; 2) push the crowbar with a fire extinguisher onto the conveyor belt, which is located below. Then, take the generator, fill it with a can of fuel and connect it to the outlet with a wire. This will start the pipeline. After that, climb onto the roof, there you will find the continuation of this conveyor, on which you, after a while, will be able to pick up the crowbar. There is also a third way, without using a fire extinguisher. To do this, you just need to come close to the grate with any gripped object in your hands, and throw it into the crowbar right through the grate, thereby knocking the crowbar down. After that, do everything exactly as in the second method.

Trivia

  • Starting with Pre-Alpha, you can unchain the boards from the windows, but with Beta 1 this feature is gone, and in Alpha 3 the feature is not present.This feature was brought back in Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha
  • It is quite possible to remove the possibility because someone in Alpha 4 was able to get into the room with a hole and stairs and then to the room with water.
  • In Pre-Alpha and Hello Neighbor 2 , boards don't have nails. Therefore, to remove the board just need to click the crowbar on its left button. The board will disappear immediately.
  • It is not known why the crowbar is present in Act 1 if there are no boards in this act. Most likely it was added there as a decoration to give the house a similarity to Mr. Peterson's House from Alpha 2.
  • The crowbar is also useless in Secret Neighbor.
  • In Pre-Alpha, the protagonist held the crowbar sideways, which is being cut nails, to himself. In Alpha 1, the protagonist held the crowbar more natural.
