Storyline

Establishment

Raven Brooks

Raven Brooks was a town founded in Missouri by the Tavish Family a long time ago. A woman nicknamed Gammy Flo was making a new dessert one day when she noticed her treats were in the shape of apples. Gammy sold her idea to the Tavishes, who established the Golden Apple corporation, and Flo died happy and rich.

Forest Protector Rumors

Around the 1960's, rumors started spreading of Forest Protectors roaming the town. They were described to look half-man half-bird, with black hats. In 1965, a young reporter, Norman Darby, was writing a story on Forest Protectors when he mysteriously went missing after a meeting with his editor, Gordon Cleave. These Forest Protector rumor lasted until 1992, when they were revealed to the public out of costume. These Forest Protectors used luck devices to curse the town, causing bad things to happen.

The Meteorologists

Raven Brooks had some odd people. Two of those people were Roger and Adelle Peterson. They were meteorologists who had a son named Theodore Peterson. They built two locations in the town. One was a meteorological station where they did their main work in. The other building was an observatory, which had green and purple lights whenever Forest Protectors did rituals there. It is unknown if Roger and Adelle were forest protectors. Roger and Adelle were later arrested. Their experiments seemed to cause bad storms in the town.

Return of the Storms

When Theodore Peterson and his family moved back into Raven Brooks in 1991, storms started reappearing. Forest Protectors were more feared than ever, and the blame was put on the Peterson family. Aaron and Mya were bullied at school because of it, and Theodore had to work in the basement.

The Puzzle Master

A year after the Petersons moved in, the Raven Brooks Banner started to receive messages from an unknown puzzle master. All of the crossword puzzles were specifically made for Aaron to answer (sometimes Mya). The Puzzle Master was revealed to be Norman Darby.

The Flood

One day, Theodore Peterson caused a flood using the meteorological station, so that people could learn what it was like to lose someone they love. The town was evacuated.

Time Loop

In 2021, Raven Brooks was caught in a time loop. The town lost Enzo Esposito during it, and they forget everything every time it resets. The loop started a day after Enzo disappeared.

Trivia

  • In Alpha 3, the town was called Alpha 3.
  • Until Alpha 3, the town generally had no title.
  • The name of the town is a reference to Voronezh, the Russian city where Dynamic Pixels was located.
  • There are buildings in Hide & Seek and Secret Neighbor that are not in the original version of the town, namely a bank, a mattress factory, a grocery store, a butcher shop, a sea station, a Weather Station and a Ferris wheel.
  • In Google Maps you can find with the same name object, that is Ravonya Churya. It is under the status of "Ghost Town".
  • In fact, this place is simply the name of the residence of the owner of Dynamic Pixels, which confirms the status of "I am the owner of the company", the fact that the place is open 24 hours a day and a link to the official website of the game.
  • Some objects in the game had a previously different look, such as a water tower, which was realistic before Beta 3. Or, for example, a police station that before Beta 3 had the appearance of giant white rectangles (Before Beta 3 was unfinished).
