The Lockpick is an important object in Hello Neighbor.

Uses

The lockpick can unlock any lock, not including the basement door. In Pre-Alpha and Alpha 1, the lockpick can be used on the copper lock, in Alpha 2 it can be used on the red lock. In Act 1, the lockpick is needed to enter the basement and can be acquired through a gap in the back of Mr. Peterson's House by using the electromagnet. It is used on the silver lock. In Act 3, the lockpick is not required and can be used on any lock. In Hello Guest Alpha 1, you can get a lockpick but it is useless.

Locations

• In Pre-Alpha, the lockpick is located in the living room inside a drawer.
• In Alpha 1, the lockpick was used as an alternative to the copper key and is in the CCTV room.
• In Alpha 2, the lockpick was used to open the locked shed, which contained the wrench and toy rifle. You can find a lockpick in a drawer in the kitchen. There is also another lockpick in Mr. Peterson's tool room.
• In Alpha 3, a lockpick can be found at the end of the hallway, on a shelf.
• In Alpha 4, there are three lockpicks. The first lockpick is located on top of one of the high shelves in the kitchen. One was on a shelf in the main hallway, next to the three windows. The last one was on the escalator from the train operator room to the pitching machine room behind a pile of furniture blocking the escalator.
• In Act 1, the lockpick is in Mr. Peterson's tool room. Nicky Roth must use the electromagnet to acquire it.
• In Act 3, the lockpick is much harder to get. You must use a glitch to get to the town, and head towards Mr. Peterson's House. Behind the house, there is a row of trees. The lockpick is by one such tree.
• In Hello Neighbor 2 Beta, a lockpick can be found in the bakery and can be used on the lock behind the bakery counter.

Trivia

• In Act 3, there is a glitch where behind the tree, the lockpick isn't there.
• The lockpick will disappear after being used. This was added to prevent abuse.
