The Neighbor's Notebook is the official game guide for Hello Neighbor, the book is notorious for being filled with Incorrect Information and containing various in-editor screenshots of the game, including some of Theodore Peterson t-posing off in the background.

This book was the first to contain concept art of the Rescue Squad, giving us an early look at their designs, as well as containing a game synopsis for what eventually became Hello Engineer.

Trivia

  • In the Act 1 section of the book, it uses a map of the Prototype house instead of the Act 1 house.
  • This book was seemingly written when Hide and Seek was going to be DLC for the main game, as it mentions it as DLC several times throughout the book.
  • There are several UE4 and In-Editor screenshots of Hello Neighbor in this book.
  • The only Secret Neighbor kids to be actually in this book, are Trinity Bales, Enzo Esposito and Maritza Esposito. Finch, Delroy and Ivan Torre are nowhere to be seen in this book.
  • All of the Secret Neighbor screenshots are Pre-Alpha / Alpha images.
  • This is the only time the names of any of the Out of Bounds Hello Neighbor buildings are ever said in any media.
  • The book incorrectly states that the Act 1 Nightmare Sequence (Blood Ties) is a recreation of the Rotten Core Roller Coaster.
