The Fernweh Welt was an amusement ride in Germany designed by Theodore Peterson.

During its opening day on June 15, 1990, the ride malfunctioned trapping four people underwater. Only three got out alive.

Trivia

  • The Petersons moved from Germany to Raven Brooks because of the Fernweh Welt incident.
  • It was the worst incident on one of Theodore's rides until the death of Lucy Yi.
