Stereo System
The Stereo System is a useless object in Hello Neighbor Alpha 1.5 and Secret Neighbor.
Description and History
The object looks like a stereo system with speakers and a record player and buttons. The word 'JAZZ' is present on the inside of the stereo system's open lid.
It was first introduced in the unreleased Alpha 1.5 version of Hello Neighbor, and was placed in the Neighbor's bedroom. The object does not physically appear in Alpha 2, though can be found the files.
The stereo system was reused in early versions of Secret Neighbor, and retained the realistic Alpha 1.5 look.
As part of the 2020 Easter update for Secret Neighbor, the appearance of the stereo system changed to better match the game’s art style.[citation needed]
Purpose
The stereo system might have been intended to be used as a distraction for the Neighbor in Alpha 1.5.[citation needed]
In Secret Neighbor, the stereo system cannot be turned on in any way. It serves a decorative purpose only.
