Appearance

Hello Neighbor

Pre-Beta 1

Mr. Peterson's car pre-Beta 1 resembles a 50s style red car. It has a white vinyl roof and chrome bumpers, headlight casings, mirrors, door handles, etc. The car has whitewall tires with red hub caps, and the rear wheels are partially covered by fender skirts. It has eight lights.

Beta 1 - Full Game

Mr. Peterson's car after Beta 1 looks much larger and longer. The car is bright red, with a black vinyl roof. It has small silver wheels and thin tyres. The hood of the car is elongated and the trunk is small. The car has six lights: four in the front and two in the back.

Hello Neighbor 2

Mr. Peterson's car in Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1 is more like its first version than the version from the latest versions of other games (Hello Neighbor, HN: Hide & Seek, Secret Neighbor). It has a damaged windshield, a front seat is missing, the front bumper is tilted, the hood is slightly open, and the right headlight has fallen out. Prior to Alpha 1.0.3.0, it consisted of textures commonly used in the game.

After Alpha version 1.0.3.0, Mr. Peterson's car has become more detailed. The interior, the space under the hood and the trunk were decorated. Also, an engine appeared under the hood. Now the car has its own textures.

  • In Act 2, Mr. Peterson's car can be found outside the fence but has no use.
  • Mr. Peterson's car can also be found in Act 3, but it has no use.

Trivia

1950s Plymouth Fury car, similar to the Pre-Beta 1 and Hello Neighbor 2 car
  • The Pre-Beta 1 and Hello Neighbor 2 appearance of Mr. Peterson's car highly resembles that of a real 1950-60s Plymouth Fury or Cadillac car.
    • The appearance of Mr. Peterson's car might be a reference to Christine the car, which is a 1958 Plymouth Fury.

One of the developers stated that it was because "The Neighbor is a bad driver".
