The Generator is an important object in Hello Neighbor.
Description
The generator is used to power things in the game. It is used to power gates or power the fridge in Act 3. The new one looks like a cartoonish machine. The old one looks like a realistic portable generator. In Hello Neighbor 2 it looks a bit realistic than in Act 3.Now they can be picked up. They are packed in a box. If you put it in the proper position and hold the LMB for about 5 seconds, they will open the generator. A wire is required to plug an object with a generator.

Alpha 1
Under Mr. Peterson's House. Not seen during normal gameplay.
Alpha 1.5/2
In Mr. Peterson's backyard. Two more are in the basement, down the hallways, that power gates. Same as Alpha 2. However, the ones in the basement serve no purpose and do not power the gates.
Alpha 3
In the closet room and on the box hanging from the house. However, you will need to access the top parts of Mr. Peterson's House to reach it.
Alpha 4
In the closet room and the room with the first stop for the train.
Beta 1
Same as Alpha 4.
Beta 2
Same as Beta 1 and Alpha 4.
Beta 3
In the closet room just like the others but the other one was moved inside a fence and must be opened to be shut off.
Act 1
In the basement blocked by a gate which requires the player to turn off the electricity.
Act 2
There is no generator in Act 2.
Act 3
Blocked by the fence just like Beta 3. The one in the closet room was removed.
