Rope is an important object in the Hello Neighbor 2 Alphas.

It is key to completing the alternate route of Hello Guest Alpha 1. Attaching it to a powered-up carousel and then tying it to the red blockade will open up the hole in the wall.

Description

It looks like a cartoon rope but has the property to stretch like a hairband. It first appeared in Hello Guest Alpha 1.

Usage

  • With the help of a rope, you can fly into some hard-to-reach places in normal conditions.
  • It also helps to survive the fall from a great height.
  • If you pull the rope (or attach one end parallel to the other), you can knock The Guest off his feet.
  • Attaching a rope to a closed gate and pulling at it will result in it being opened.

Location

Hello Guest Alpha 1

  • Six of them can be found on a shelf in the Gas Station. A singular rope can be bought for 150 V.
  • Another rope can be found on top of the Panic Room's platform, which can be accessed using the Fire Extinguisher.

Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1

  • It can sometimes be found in Mr. Peterson's House.
  • One rope can be found on the nest, on the burnt house.
  • The second can be found on one of the buildings with binoculars, which is located near the burnt house.

Bugs

  • If one end of the rope is attached to the wall and the second is in the player's hands and move to a distant distance, then the strength of stretching you fly to the wall. So you can fly high into the sky, or you can die (or lose things, looking at which version).

Trivia

  • The rope happens in two states: in the usual (is a regular object) and in the stretch (is an interactive object).
  • The texture of the rope in Hello Guest Alpha 1/Hello Neighbor 2 Alpha 1 is identical to the texture of the rope from Hello Neighbor, but unlike the last one, the first one is 45 degrees clockwise.
