The Grave Room is a location in Hello Neighbor Alpha 1.
Description
The grave room is adjacent to the dining room and can be accessed via the main hallway. The room itself is decorated with pink floral wallpaper and features three doors, two of which are blocked by chairs from the inside. There is no floor in the center of the room, instead the player will find a grave with a strange setup meant for a safety coffin. In the coffin, the player will find the mannequin teacher. To the right of the grave itself, on the wall are instructions for the safety coffin. A shovel is stored inside a wall-mounted container on the left wall of the room.
Gameplay
To complete the grave room puzzle, the player has to retrieve a bell from either the flooded room, or the second floor bathroom. Once the bell has been placed on the pole next to the cross, the wall-mounted container will open. The player can now take the shovel and dig up the grave, remove the coffin lid and acquire the mannequin teacher.
Trivia
- In the Alpha 1 developer Q&A, Nikita Kolesnikov said that the coffin was originally intended to be a "portal" to the ER/hospital ward on the unused third floor of the Neighbor’s house.
