The Dark Essence is a character that appears in Hello Neighbor: Diaries, during it's basement segments.
Appearance
The Dark Essence is a shadowy version of Theodore Peterson mimicking The Thing, his eyes glow a bright white, and will relentlessly chase Nicky once spotted.
Trivia
- It is the first variation of The Thing.
