In the full release of Hello Neighbor, there are cutscenes that occur during gameplay. You can witness a cutscene if you get caught by Mr. Peterson multiple times. But, cutscenes just exist in Act 1 and 2, and do not exist in Act 3. In Act 3, there are no cutscenes, but there are the Fear Levels. The cutscenes show what happened to Theodore's family before the events of the game.
List Of Cutscenes
Act 1
In Act 1, there are two cutscenes that occur during gameplay:
- The Car Accident
At First, you pass through a corridor with TV hanging from the ceiling. From a window, you can see Mr. Peterson talking to someone, then starting his car and driving off. continuing walking down the corridor, a vehicle tire will smash through a window. From that window we can see wreckage of Mr. Peterson's car and a pizza truck. Mr. Peterson sits by the car and sobs. Mr. Peterson's wife, Diane Peterson, later dies as a result of the accident.
2. Mysterious Shovel Sound
Act 2
In Act 2, there are two cutscenes that occur during gameplay:
- The Amusement Park's Roller Coaster
Nicky Roth wakes up at a carnival. He goes inside, seeing a rollercoaster. He then sits in the roller coaster. During the ride, a cut-out girl smashes into the rollercoaster, and eventually the Nicky's face.
- The Hospital Tragedy
Nicky finds himself at a hospital. There is a machine next to a empty bed, and the life bar starts flatlining. Outside the room Mr. Peterson can be seen crying.
