Hello Neighbor

Pre-Release (HN)

  1. Player Theme - Early version of the credits theme. Used in the alpha 2 intro when Nicky is moving in.
  2. Attack 5 - Mix of the chase music and another tune, used in the alpha 2 basement.
  3. Alpha 3 Intro - First appearance of the Neighbor leitmotif.
  4. Intro Nightmare - Alpha 4 to Beta 3 intro. Uses Neighbor leitmotif.

Release (HN)

  1. Intro - This track is used when Nicky is kicking a ball down the street. It holds a leitmotif for Theodore's house, used two other times in the game.
  2. Sneaking - Used when Nicky is creeping up to Mr. Peterson's house. It plays a more intense version of the house leitmotif, and gets stronger as Nicky gets closer to the house.
  3. Final - When Nicky escapes from Mr. Peterson's basement. It is the first use of the Neighbor's leitmotif in the full game. It shows that Nicky escaped, but the Neighbor isn't done.
  4. Intro Nostalgia - The music that plays in Nicky's apartment. The first appearance of Nicky's leitmotif.
  5. Arrive - Used when Nicky drives back to his old house in Raven Brooks. Uses Nicky's leitmotif, but transitions to the Neighbor's when Nicky looks at the broken house.
  6. Neighbor - Fear takes over Nicky when going to the remains of Mr. Peterson's house. The house leitmotif with church bells and a faint Neighbor leitmotif is used in this scene.
  7. Unpack - Nicky enters his house, and a shortened Nicky leitmotif plays.
  8. Window - Used when Nicky starts seeing things. It's a creepy Neighbor leitmotif that plays along with mysterious clicking and the Thing appearances.
  9. Thing - The Thing boss fight.
  10. Battle Scene - This music is used when Nicky beats his fears. It uses a mix of Nicky and Neighbor's leitmotif, but with a different emotion.
  11. Nostalgia/Player Theme - The credits theme. Full theme for Nicky.

Hello Neighbor: Hide and Seek

Pre-Release (HS)

  1. Set 1 Crow Scene - Cut track involving a scene with a crow. It was right after the first stage's dinner cutscene. It is unknown why it was removed from the final game.
  2. Reveal Trailer - This track is used in the August 30th 2018 Hide and Seek Reveal Trailer. It is a roller coaster of emotion, showing the Peterson family's downfall through sneak peeks of the game's cutscenes. It transitions from a empty-feeling yet emotional piece, much like Battle Scene, to happy guitar strumming and the Petersons at their highest point in life. Later on in the song, there is a half-minute section of depressing music that gives off a sense of nostalgia as it shows the Petersons, previously happy, now at their lowest point in life. It transitions into intense strumming, before cutting off right at the end.

Release (HS)

  1. Release Trailer - Used on the December 9th Release Trailer. It's mainly strumming, until it gets to the softer and sadder part, and then the Neighbor's leitmotif.
  2. Set 1 Intro - The Petersons at their happiest. They have left Germany and moved into their new home in Raven Brooks, preparing their new lives. They are not aware of what awaits for them later on. The happy strumming is the same as in the Reveal Trailer.
  3. Set 1 Dinner - Once Aaron and Mya are called to dinner by their mom, a happy song plays as the camera pans out from the kitchen.
  4. Set 2 Intro - A fast-paced guitar plucking in a similar tune to the strumming in stage 1, which plays when Aaron and Mya are starting their second game.
  5. Set 2 Dinner - Eerie-feeling music as the kids realize their parents are not home for dinner. They are a bit worried, and the music is similar to Act 3 Window track from the first game.
  6. Set 3 Intro - Happy yet uncomfortable feeling music while Aaron and Mya prepare another game while their parents are still not home the next morning.
  7. Set 3 Dinner - The return of the Neighbor's leitmotif. He walks into the house and drops his wife's purse, and the music is really emotional.
  8. Set 4 Intro - The Petersons don't seem to feel any happiness after Diane died, and the family is very divided.
  9. Set 4 Dinner - An unsteady offbeat strumming plays as Aaron uses his toy rifle to let his anger out on his sister. They are both called to dinner, but Aaron leaves shortly after getting mad.
  10. Set 5 Intro - A repeat of the theme in the set 2 intro, but distorted and with emotion.
  11. Credits - Looping notes that are playing while Mya is falling. She was pushed off, and once she dies, that's it for the Peterson family.
